On March,12  WhatsApp rolled out a "Delete for everyone" feature for its users. This feature allows users to delete messages that you have sent by mistake.

About the App 

It keeps a tab on WhatsApp messages through your smartphone's notification system, so your notification alerts for all WhatsApp chats should be enabled for the app to intercept and retrieve deleted texts. It essentially reads your notifications, copies incoming WhatsApp messages, and even when someone deletes a message, it can show you a copy of it.

Steps to follow

1. Download and install an app called WhatsRemoved on your android device. This app is available for free on google playstore.



 2. Now just open the app and follow the prompts.
select one of the three installation type: detect deleted messages and files(Recommended), detect only deleted messages,detect deleted files without knowing who sent them.

3. Give app permission to access your phone's photos and media files.

4. Finally,enable the "Notification Listener Service" and allow the app to "read notification data" without which it cannot work.
